Engineering and Computing Career Day at Sherbrooke University

On September 16 , HyperShell Technologies was present at the engineering and Computing career day at Sherbrooke University. It was a success, many meetings were held at our booth where students looking for an internship or a job in computer came to meet us there to learn more about the company and the currently open positions.  Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit us!

Another great accomplishment : TVA – Shawnee

Another great project carried out by our engineering and drafting team : the project TVA - Shawnee, located in West Paducah, Kentucky, USA. The project consisted in the installation of an Air Quality Control System (AQCS) on an existing thermal power plant. The Equipment designer, Alstom ECS mandated HyperShell to :

[li type="glyphicon-ok"]Model in 3D the piping systems feeding an ''SDA'' (Spray-Dryer Absorber);[/li]
[li type="glyphicon-ok"]Analyse pipe stress according to ASME B31.1 code;[/li]
[li type="glyphicon-ok"]Deliver isometric drawings for pipe fabrication;[/li]
[li type="glyphicon-ok"]Design and draw pipe supports.[/li]
[/list]

Also, HyperShell had to ensure valves and actuator operability, optimal pipe routing and make sure provided process schematics (P&ID) are respected. The work was carried out using Cadworx and Caesar II software.
